  • $150 per 53-minute session.

$230 per 83-minute session (out of pocket only—see below).

  • Yes. I accept Premera, Lifewise, and some Blue Cross Blue Shield plans (those billed through Premera).

Before our first session, we’ll do a benefits check to verify that your insurance plan covers my services.

  • I see clients both in person in my U-District office and online throughout Washington state.

  • My office is in Seattle’s U-District at 4500 9th Ave NE Suite 300, Seattle, WA 98105.

I’m right off the I-5 exit, there’s free parking, and I’m near the U-District light rail station.

  • Tuesday through Friday, between 10:00am and 4:00pm.

  • Standard sessions are 53 minutes long.

I see clients weekly and currently do not offer bi-weekly or monthly sessions.

  • Yes. 90-minute sessions are the preferred length for EMDR and are also great for IFS. I may be able to offer them, depending on my current schedule.

Note: insurance does not cover 90-minute sessions, so I can only offer them to clients paying out of pocket.

  • I work one-on-one with adults on anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Themes that often come up in the work I do include: complex trauma, recovery from emotionally neglectful or abusive relationships, anxious or avoidant attachment, social anxiety, and people pleasing/codependency. Many of the people I work with are dealing with patterns that started long before the symptoms they’re currently struggling with, and a lot of what we do together is tracing those patterns back to where they came from.

  • You don’t need to know what’s wrong, and you don’t need to come in with clear goals. “I want to feel better” is enough for me and for the kind of work I do. The root of what’s weighing you down will usually clarify itself over time.

In our early sessions, I might ask about the parts of your life where things feel off, or what would be different if our work together were successful. But you don’t have to have answers ready. We’ll figure it out together.

  • Sessions vary based on what you need on any given day. Some days we’ll talk things through, some days we’ll do deeper IFS or EMDR work, some days we’ll do somatic or experiential work. If we’ve gone into deeper material, I’ll always wrap the session with grounding so you’re ready to step back into the rest of your day.

The work itself tends to unfold in phases. We’ll start by getting to know each other and building trust. From there, we’ll work on stabilization and emotion regulation skills. Then we’ll move into the deeper IFS and EMDR work that brings about lasting change. The pacing varies a lot from person to person, and I’ll meet you where you are.

  • The honest answer is that it depends. The kind of therapy I do tends to be longer-term because we’re working with patterns and wounds that have been around for a long time, and that kind of healing takes time. Some people are in the work for a year or two, others for much longer.

That being said, you’ll know when you’re done, and I’ll check in every few months to make sure we’re always moving in a direction that feels right to you.

If working together feels like a good fit, we’ll book our first session during the call.

  • The consultation is a low-key vibe check. We’ll get to know each other, I’ll ask a bit about what’s bringing you to therapy, and you can ask me anything you want about working together.

If working together feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule your first session before we end the call.

  • The first session is an intake session, which has a different feel than the sessions that follow. I’ll ask a lot of questions about what’s bringing you to therapy, your history, your relationships, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance. Just come as you are.

Before the session, I’ll send you some paperwork to fill out online. This usually takes about 15–20 minutes and covers things like consent forms and some background information.

If the intake session feels more structured or question-heavy than you expected, that’s normal. The deeper work begins once we have a shared understanding of where you’re coming from and where you want to go.

  • What you share with me stays between us—including the fact that you’re seeing me at all. I take your privacy seriously and won’t disclose anything without your consent. Even when you do give consent to share information, I’ll do my best to share only what’s necessary.

There are a few situations where I’m legally required or permitted to break confidentiality:

If you express a clear intent to harm yourself or someone else, and the risk is immediate.

If I learn about the abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult.

If I’m subpoenaed and ordered by a court to share information about our work.

If your life is in danger and I can’t get your consent.

You can feel good.
Let’s figure out how.
